Re: The Drifters
Sabine was quiet for a long moment before he quietly spoke. "This isn't a good conversation to have over the phone. You' should focus on your race. We can talk when you get back. "
Re: The Drifters
"Please do something for me, please go get some real care. I can go through this last race without you if I need to but only if I know you are being properly taken care of," Lessa requested carefully.

Sabine seemed to hesitate for a long moment before he spoke. "Fine, but keep me updated. I will have my radio on me if you need me. "
Re: The Drifters
"You know I'll keep you in the loop," Lessa promised. She had gotten him to agree to better treatment and the later was enough for her for now.
As Reid drove West home he couldn't help but worry about how they were going to explain this to Serial. Little did he know that while he was gone Rachel had reported him missing.

Re: The Drifters
Halfway through the drive a cop appeared around the corner and turned on his lights as he began to follow them. Upon seeing it West frowned and turned to Reid as he spoke. "I didn't think that you were speeding. "
Re: The Drifters
"For once I wasn't, I was trying to.put this off as long as possible," Reid admitted as he carefully pulled over for the cop.

Re: The Drifters
The cop immediately pulled up behind them and walked up to Reid's window. "Both of you need to exit the car," he told them shortly. "You first driver."
Re: The Drifters
Reid frowned and looked over at West before slowly stepping out, "can I ask what the problem is officer?"

Re: The Drifters
"You have been reported a missing person, as has your friend," the cop informed him shortly. "You are required to come to the station. "
Re: The Drifters
"Wait who in the world reported us missing? And why do we have to come with you, can't you just follow us or something? I really don't want to leave my car," Reid protested.

Re: The Drifters
"Your car will be towed to the precinct. You were reported missing by two women by the name of Seria and Rachel," the cop replied as he gestured for West to step out of the car, who nervously obeyed the order.
Re: The Drifters
"I thought you told your wife we would be out of town? Did you really just skip out?" Reid turned to West with a frown, he didn't even want to think about Rachel right now.

Re: The Drifters
"No, I swear I told her," West frowned as he looked at his friend in clear confusion. "Why would she have done that? And why would Rachel have reported you missing?"
Re: The Drifters
"I have no idea I haven't spoken to her in over a month, she wouldn't even answer my calls. Do you think she went to Seria?" Reid asked carefully.

Re: The Drifters
"Maybe, that could explain why Seria called," West admitted. Seeing the cop watching them impatiently he turned to Reid as he spoke. "I guess we should go to the station and figure out what is going on."
Re: The Drifters
"I suppose so," Reid sighed and fished out his wallet pulling a card from it and handing it to the cop. "Can you please use this tow company, I have an account with them."

Re: The Drifters
The cop agreed and had them pile into the back of his cruiser before he called the company. Once the car was being towed he drove them to the precinct. Seria and Rachel had already been called.
Re: The Drifters
Rachel arrived quickly and immediately ran up to Reid hugging him tightly and crying into his shoulder about how much she missed him and how she thought he was dead.

Re: The Drifters
Seria arrived a moment later. Without any hesitation she stepped up to West and backhanded him hard across the face, then proceeded to scream that he was an idiot and hadn't contacted her to tell her he was safe.
Re: The Drifters
Once he freed himself, for the most part, from Rachel, Reid stepped over to apologize to Seria. " Seria, please listen. I had though he had told you that we would be out for a time and wouldn't be able to contact you."

Re: The Drifters
"You did but you didn't tell me that you would be in Japan!" Seria glared at both of them as she spoke.
"How did you know-" West began weakly only to be cut off as she spoke.
"I saw your credit card bill. How did you think I wouldn't see that?"

Re: The Drifters
Reid frowned deeply and looked at both girls with a sigh, "let's get out of here. It seems like the four of us have a lot to talk about."
"But Reid, I just wanna go home with you. I haven't seen you in ages," Rachel whined.
"That was not my fault, I tried to call you and you didn't answer."
"I lost my phone."
"And you couldn't drive over and tell me that?"
"Well, I..."
"No, I don't want to hear your excuses anymore," Reid snapped as he pulled his arm out of her grasp and marched for the door leaving a heartbroken looking Rachel just standing there.

Re: The Drifters
Before he could leave Seria stepped forward and grabbed his sleeve as she spoke, "Reid Lenith, you aren't going anywhere. You owe us an explanation."
Re: The Drifters
"Then you better come along because here is not the place to talk about this," Reid said sharply as he pulled his arm away and walked to the door without looking back at the still stunned Rachel. For him that was a very odd show of aggression.

Re: The Drifters
Seria frowned and turned back to Rachel as she spoke. "Come on, I'll make sure he explains this."
Worried for his friend West slipped out to follow Reid. He knew that this was serious.
