The Drifters

"No, I have to find them!" West insisted as he tried to fight Reid's grasp.

On the cargo ship Sabine had sunk down against one of the crates. He already had sea sickness and the drugs he was on were making it much worse.

Reid forced West into his car and slapped him harshly, "get a grip, you are no use to them right now. Calm down and take a breath, we have to get safe before we can save them."

West hesitated before he took a shaky breath and nodded. "You're right, I'm sorry. "

At that moment Serith sent another text to Lessa. 'Leave the city, now.'

"Good then we are going now," Reid said as he stepped into the car and took off.

'Working on it, stay safe' Lessa texted back while she paced the deck.

Just as West and Reid drove off a police car rounded the corner and flicked on his lights and sirens upon seeing them.

Feeling sicker Sabine had resorted to moving against the railing of the ship.

"Hold tight, we are in for quite a ride till we lose our tail. Call Lessa and tell her what's going on," Reid ordered as he sped up.

Seeing him move Lessa went to Sabine's side to help him.

West agreed and hastily dialed Lessa's number. By the time he had done so another cop car had begun to follow them.

Sabine was looking rather green and was starting to sweat fairly heavily. Within barely a minute later he had begun to get sick off the boat.

Lessa spoke with them while she tried to comfort Sabine, she knew that there was little more she could do.

Reid cursed and kicked it up swerving and racing between cars and constantly turning onto small roads at the last moment to lose their tails.

Out of nowhere a strange white sports car flew between Reid's car and the tail, buying them just enough of a distraction to lose the tail entirely.

When he eventually stopped getting sick Sabine slumped against the railing. His body was shaking and he looked incredibly pale and weak.

"Don't know what that was but it works, tell Lessa we are coming," Reid said as he hit the turbo and took off.

Lessa was happy to hear and waited impatiently for them to arrive.

When they finally arrived the cargo ship took off into the harbor. Sabine had already passed out against the railing, looking almost like a corpse with how pale and still he was.

Lessa was concerned about Sabine and asked if either of the boys had anything to help him, she was at a loss right now.

"Seria had antinausea meds in her purse," West frowned as he spoke.  "But I guess it's too late for those. They were at my house. "

Lessa frowned and apologized softly to West before stepping off to go see if perhaps someone on the crew had anything that could help.

One of the members of the crew happened to have motion sickness pills on him. He was very sympathetic to Sabine's position and was more than willing to set up a chair for him on deck so he could rest.

Lessa was thankful for the help and spent the cruise pacing back and forth on deck checking her phone, she didn't know what she was expecting but she didn't want to miss anything. After some time she started calling some of her more trusted friends in interpol, she knew that they would need all the help they could get.
